Our stay at the Burwood Inn was exceptional. The rooms were lovely and the bathrooms beautiful. The staff were great and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the facilities was top-notch and the air-conditioning provided much-needed relief. We also loved the proximity to Modus brewery and the nice cafes at the Junction. we would highly recommend a stay at the Burwood Inn.
The only drawback we experienced was the price. We visited during supercar weekend and the room rate of almost 300 per night for a twin room with a shared bathroom felt a bit expensive.

A 10-minute walk from the bus stop, the room here met my requirements; I highly recommend trying the delicious Best Coast Pizza just 700 feet away.

The decoration of the hotel was cozy and charming, with comfortable leather seats that were perfect for enjoying a quiet glass of wine or a cheeky cocktail. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with no stairs to climb and clear signage throughout.
I would have liked to see more assistance from the children working there when it came to providing recommendations or suggestions for activities that would be suitable for senior guests.

I recently stayed at the Burwood Inn for an overnight in Newcastle. The staff were incredibly friendly and the restaurant downstairs had a great buzz. The room and bathrooms were very clean, and despite the small size of the room, the comfortable bed made for the best sleep I've had in 6 months! The modern decor exceeded my expectations for a pub hotel. The location in a quiet neighborhood and a 15-minute walk from the beach was perfect. it was a great experience and I would stay here again.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The renovated old pub has such a warm and charming feel to it. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and the included continental breakfast is a fantastic bonus! The location is perfect - just a short walk to the train station and a stunning beach. The restaurant is surprisingly amazing, with the best steak in the area. The rooms are huge and comfortable, with a king-sized bed and a flat-screen TV. The shared bathrooms are clean and spacious, and the showers are jaw-dropping with their huge sprinkles. The proximity to the race track for the supercars weekend is a big plus. a super experience with awesome food, friendly staff, and great comfort!

We had a wonderful stay at this budget, friendly pub accommodation located in a quiet, residential area. the renovated bathroom and kitchenette were both functional and sleek. the location was optimal for our needs, being so close to the beautiful beach which offers waterfront cafes to enjoy brunch. We appreciated being able to self, cater and park for free on the street outside.
The thin room walls made for a noisy night, with next, door arguments keeping us up.
